Cancellation Policy
We’re so excited to help you meet our rescued rabbits and hopefully find the right match for your family! Adoption appointments are relaxed, one-on-one visits with our team designed to help you get to know potential matches and feel prepared for life with your new bunny. An approved adoption application is required before scheduling. Approval does not guarantee adoption of a particular rabbit. Please arrive on time and plan to spend approximately 45–60 minutes with us. This includes meeting potential matches, talking with an adoption counselor about personalities, care, housing, diet, bonding and any questions you have, completing paperwork if you adopt, and shopping for food, hay, toys and enrichment in our rescue shop. Our team will help select rabbits to meet based on your household, preferences and the needs and personalities of our available rabbits. Appointments are not intended for meeting every available rabbit. We want you to have meaningful time with the bunnies most likely to be a great fit. Children are welcome and should remain with an adult. Please follow our team’s guidance during introductions. Rabbits should not be picked up unless a team member says it is appropriate. Remember that some bunnies are outgoing right away while others need a little time to feel comfortable! If you are bringing your current rabbit to meet a potential companion, they must arrive in a secure carrier and appear healthy and free of fleas, mites or signs of contagious illness. Rabbits must remain in their carrier except when directed otherwise. Meeting a rabbit does not obligate you to adopt. We want you to feel comfortable making a thoughtful decision. Fairytale Farm may postpone or decline an adoption if we believe the placement is not in the best interest of the rabbit or adopter. Availability of a specific rabbit cannot be guaranteed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may require a new appointment request. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to follow these policies and our team’s instructions while visiting. We can’t wait to introduce you to the bunnies!
